In January 2001, Rexroth acquired a majority ownership in Basic Technologies Corporation.  As of May 1, 2001, Basic Technologies became Bosch Rexroth Canada as a result of the merger of the Bosch AT Group, a division of Robert Bosch in Stuttgart, Germany and Rexroth.
